If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, you are to treat him as a pagan and a tax (telōnēs | τελώνης | nom sg masc) collector.
The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax (telōnōn | τελωνῶν | gen pl masc) collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is shown to be right by what she does.”

And as Jesus sat at table in the house, many tax (telōnai | τελῶναι | nom pl masc) collectors and sinners came and were eating with Jesus and his disciples.
And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end (telos | τέλος | nom sg neut). To the one who thirsts I will give permission to drink free of charge from the spring of the water of life.
