Greek-English Concordance for εὐαρεστέω

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death, and he could not be found, because God had taken him. For before he was taken he had been approved as one who had been pleasing (euarestēkenai | εὐαρεστηκέναι | perf act inf ) to God,
Hebrews 11:6 and without faith it is impossible to please (euarestēsai | εὐαρεστῆσαι | aor act inf ) him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
