Οὕτως γὰρ ἠγάπησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν κόσμον, ὥστε τὸν υἱὸν τὸν μονογενῆ (only) ἔδωκεν (he/she/it gave), ἵνα πᾶς ὁ πιστεύων εἰς αὐτὸν μὴ ἀπόληται (he/she/it might perish) ἀλλ᾿ ἔχῃ ζωὴν αἰώνιον.

Answer
For in this manner God loved the world, that he gave the only son in order that everyone who is believing in him would not perish but would be having eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order that he might judge the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
