Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc), for the faith of the elect of God and the knowledge of the truth that produces godliness,

I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc) Jesus, who is about to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and by his kingdom:

and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith that is in Christ (Christō | Χριστῷ | dat sg masc) Jesus.

Indeed also all wishing to live godly lives in Christ (Christō | Χριστῷ | dat sg masc) Jesus will be persecuted,

On account of this I am enduring all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may experience the salvation that is in Christ (Christō | Χριστῷ | dat sg masc) Jesus with eternal glory.

Remember Jesus Christ (Christon | Χριστόν | acc sg masc), risen from the dead, from the seed of David, in accordance with my gospel,

You, then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ (Christō | Χριστῷ | dat sg masc) Jesus,

Hold to the pattern of healthy words that you have heard from me in the faith and the love that is in Christ (Christō | Χριστῷ | dat sg masc) Jesus.

but now has been made known through the appearing of our Savior, Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc) Jesus, on the one hand, in order to abolish death and, on the other, to bring to light life and incorruptibility through the gospel,
