After an interval of about three hours (hōrōn | ὡρῶν | gen pl fem) his wife came in, unaware of what had happened.

Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour (hōran | ὥραν | acc sg fem) of prayer, the ninth hour.

For these men are not, as you suppose, drunk, since it is only the third hour (hōra | ὥρα | nom sg fem) of the day.

Then he said to his disciple, “Look, your mother!” And from that hour (hōras | ὥρας | gen sg fem) the disciple took her into his own home.

Now it was the day of Preparation for the Passover, about noon. Pilate said to the Jews, “Here is your king!”

When Jesus had finished saying these things, he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour (hōra | ὥρα | nom sg fem) has come; glorify your Son so that your Son may glorify you,

Behold, the hour (hōra | ὥρα | nom sg fem) is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own place, and you will leave me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

“I have told you these things using veiled language. The hour (hōra | ὥρα | nom sg fem) is coming when I will no longer speak to you in veiled language but will tell you plainly about the Father.

When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour (hōra | ὥρα | nom sg fem) has come; but when the baby is born, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.

But I have said these things to you so that when their hour (hōra | ὥρα | nom sg fem) comes you will remember that I told you about them. “I did not tell you these things at the start because I was with you.
