And on the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to (para | παρά | prep-acc) the riverside, where we thought there would be a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had gathered there.
And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright man and one who fears God, who is well spoken of by the whole nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and to hear words from (para | παρά | prep-gen) you.”
and requested from (par | παρ᾿ | prep-gen) him letters to Damascus addressed to the synagogues, that if he found any who were of the Way, men or women, he should bring them bound to Jerusalem.
When they had driven him out of the city, they began to stone him; and the witnesses laid their cloaks at (para | παρά | prep-acc) the feet of a young man named Saul.
