So they answered Jesus, saying, “We do not know.” And he said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what (poia | ποίᾳ | dat sg fem) authority I do these things.
Jesus answered them, saying, “I also will ask you one question, and if you give me an answer, then I will tell you by what (poia | ποίᾳ | dat sg fem) authority I do these things.
And when he had entered the temple, the ruling priests and the elders of the people approached him while he was teaching and said, “By what (poia | ποίᾳ | dat sg fem) authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority?”
“Which (poias | ποίας | acc pl fem) ones?” (poias | ποίας | acc pl fem) he inquired. And Jesus said, “‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not give false testimony,
shepherd the flock (poimnion | ποίμνιον | acc sg neut) of God among you, watching over it — not because you have to, but voluntarily, as God would have it; not for shameful gain but eagerly.
Watch out for yourselves and for all the flock (poimniō | ποιμνίῳ | dat sg neut) in which the Holy Spirit has placed you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own Son.
