When a large (polys | πολύς | nom sg masc) crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came, not only on account of Jesus but also that they might see Lazarus whom he had raised from the dead.
Now the Passover of the Jews was near, and many (polloi | πολλοί | nom pl masc) went up to Jerusalem from the country prior to the Passover to purify themselves.
So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the Council together and said, “What are we going to do? For this man is performing many (polla | πολλά | acc pl neut) signs.
Many (polloi | πολλοί | nom pl masc) people came to him and were saying, “John performed no miraculous sign, but everything he said about this man was true!”
Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many (polla | πολλά | acc pl neut) noble works from the Father; for which one of them do you intend to stone me?”
