I tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the truth, that this generation will by no means have passed away before all things have happened.

So also you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd), when you see these things happening, will know that the kingdom of God is near.

Now when these things begin to happen, straighten yourselves up and raise your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) heads, because your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) deliverance is drawing near.”

By your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) endurance you will gain your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) lives.

Yet not a hair of your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) head will perish.

You will be handed over even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) they will put to death.

For I am the one who will give you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) a mouth and wisdom, which none of your (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

So determine in your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) hearts not to rehearse beforehand how to defend yourself,

This will result in an opportunity for you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) for witness.

But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) and persecute you, handing you over to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for the sake of my name.
