For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut), you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

In the same way, he took the cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut) also, after supper, saying, “This cup (potērion | ποτήριον | nom sg neut) is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

You cannot drink the cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut) of the Lord and the cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut) of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

The cup (potērion | ποτήριον | nom sg neut) of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?

Jesus therefore said to Peter, “Put your sword back into its sheath. Am I not to drink the cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut) which the Father has given me?”

saying, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut) away from me. Yet, not my will, but yours be done.”

And he did the same with the cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut) after they had eaten, saying, “This cup (potērion | ποτήριον | nom sg neut) is the new covenant in my blood, which on your behalf is being poured out.

Then he took a cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut), and after he had given thanks he said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.

The Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup (potēriou | ποτηρίου | gen sg neut) and of the dish; but the inside of you is full of greed and wickedness.

And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup (potērion | ποτήριον | acc sg neut) from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
