Then the king said to his assistants, ‘Bind him foot (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc) and hand and foot (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc) and throw him out into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
“If your hand or your foot (pous | πούς | nom sg masc) causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc) to be thrown into eternal fire.
And great crowds came to him, bringing with them those who were lame, blind, crippled, mute, and many others; and they put them down at his feet (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc) and he healed them.
And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your message, as you leave that house or that town shake off the dust from your feet (podōn | ποδῶν | gen pl masc).
“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls in front of pigs, lest the pigs trample them underfoot, and the dogs turn and tear you to pieces.
and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it stands written: ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and, ‘on their hands they will hold you up, lest you strike your foot (poda | πόδα | acc sg masc) against a stone.’”
