And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets (prophētas | προφήτας | acc pl masc), third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, those able to help others, those who can provide guidance, and various kinds of tongues.
“Lord, they have killed your prophets (prophētas | προφήτας | acc pl masc), they have torn down your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.”
But now, apart from the law (although attested by the law and the prophets) (prophētōn | προφητῶν | gen pl masc) the righteousness of God has been disclosed.
And not being in harmony among themselves, they departed after Paul made one further statement. “The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet: (prophētou | προφήτου | gen sg masc)
When they had arranged a day to meet with him, many came to him at his lodging, and he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets (prophētōn | προφητῶν | gen pl masc), from morning till evening.
Obtaining help, therefore, from God, until this day I have stood testifying both to small and great, saying nothing beyond what the prophets (prophētai | προφῆται | nom pl masc) and Moses said would come to pass:
But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, thus I worship the God of our fathers, believing all things that are according to the Law and written in the Prophets (prophētais | προφήταις | dat pl masc),
