The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth (stoma | στόμα | nom sg neut) speaks.
They were all bearing witness to him in that they were marveling at the gracious words that were coming from his mouth (stomatos | στόματος | gen sg neut). Then they said, “Is not this Joseph’s son?”
and they said to him, “Do you hear what they are saying?” “Yes,” replied Jesus, “but have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth (stomatos | στόματος | gen sg neut) of infants and nursing babies you have brought forth praise’?”
But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you so that every matter may be confirmed on the evidence (stomatos | στόματος | gen sg neut) of two or three witnesses.
But lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth (stoma | στόμα | acc sg neut), you will find a four drachma coin; take it and give it to them for the two of us.”
Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth (stoma | στόμα | acc sg neut) passes through the stomach and is expelled into the latrine?
