Surely you (sy | σύ | nom sg 2nd) are not greater than our father Jacob, are you, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his flocks?”
Jesus answered her, saying, “If you had known the gift of God and who it was that said to you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd), ‘Give me a drink,’ you (sy | σύ | nom sg 2nd) would have asked him, and he would have given you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd) living water.”
The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you (sy | σύ | nom sg 2nd), a Jew, are asking for a drink from me, a woman from Samaria?” (For Jews use nothing in common with Samaritans.)
So they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, that man who was with you (sou | σοῦ | gen sg 2nd) on the far side of the Jordan, the one to whom you (sy | σύ | nom sg 2nd) bore witness — well, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him!”
“I tell you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd) the solemn truth, we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.
