May mercy, peace, and love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem) be yours in ever increasing measure.

They have testified to your love (agapē | ἀγάπῃ | dat sg fem) before the church. You will do well to help them on their way in a manner worthy of God,

And this is love: (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem) that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.

Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and in love (agapē | ἀγάπῃ | dat sg fem).

For this is the love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem) of God: that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome,

There is no fear in love (agapē | ἀγάπῃ | dat sg fem), but perfect love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem) drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. So the one who fears has not been perfected in love (agapē | ἀγάπῃ | dat sg fem).

By this, love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem) is fully realized among us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because just as he is, so also are we in this world.

And we have come to know and to trust the love (agapēn | ἀγάπην | acc sg fem) that God has for us. God is love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem), and the one who abides in love (agapē | ἀγάπῃ | dat sg fem) abides in God, and God abides in him.

No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God abides in us, and his love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem) has achieved its goal in us.

In this is love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem), not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son as a propitiation for our sins.
