But even if you should suffer because of righteousness, blessed are you. And do not fear their threats or be troubled (tarachthēte | ταραχθῆτε | aor pass subj 2 pl),
I am confident about you in the Lord that you will not think otherwise. But the one who is trying to confuse (tarassōn | ταράσσων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) you will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.
not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are trying to confuse (tarassontes | ταράσσοντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that also in Berea the word of God was proclaimed by Paul, they came there too, inciting and stirring (tarassontes | ταράσσοντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) up the crowds.
Since we have heard that some from among us have gone out and troubled (etaraxan | ἐτάραξαν | aor act ind 3 pl) you with their words, unsettling your minds — we had given them no such instructions —
