Mark 6:26 The (ho | | nom sg masc) king became very sad, but because of what (tous | τούς | acc pl masc) he had promised with an oath, and because of his (tous | τούς | acc pl masc) dinner guests, he did not want to refuse her request.
Mark 6:27 So without delay the (ho | | nom sg masc) king dispatched the executioner and ordered him to bring John’s head. He went and beheaded John in prison,
Mark 6:28 and brought his head on a platter and gave it to the ( | τῷ | dat sg neut) young girl. She (to | τό | nom sg neut) in turn gave it to ( | τῇ | dat sg fem) her mother.
Mark 6:29 When his disciples heard of this, they came and took his corpse and placed it in a tomb.
Mark 6:30 The (hoi | οἱ | nom pl masc) apostles rejoined Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught.
Mark 6:31 And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to some deserted place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they did not even have a time to eat.

Mark 6:33 Many people saw them leaving, recognized them, and hurried together on foot from all the (tōn | τῶν | gen pl fem) towns and arrived there ahead of them.
Mark 6:35 As the hour grew late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is a deserted place and the hour is already late.
Mark 6:36 Send them away so they can go into the (tous | τούς | acc pl masc) surrounding hamlets and villages and buy for themselves something to eat.”
Mark 6:37 But he (ho | | nom sg masc) answered them, saying, “You give them something to eat.” And they said to him, “Should we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give it to them to eat?”
Mark 6:38 And he (ho | | nom sg masc) said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” When they found out they said, “Five — and two fish.”
Mark 6:39 Then he ordered them to have all the people sit down in groups on the ( | τῷ | dat sg masc) green grass.
