And now, behold, the hand (cheir | χείρ | nom sg fem) of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately fell upon him mist and darkness, and as he went about he sought someone to lead him by the hand.
But Peter motioned to them with his hand (cheiri | χειρί | dat sg fem) to be silent, and he related how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Tell these things to James and to the brothers.” Then he departed and went to another place.
When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand (cheiros | χειρός | gen sg fem) of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”
And behold, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared, and a light shone in the cell. He struck the side of Peter and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands (cheirōn | χειρῶν | gen pl fem).
