Are they servants of Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc)? — I am talking like a madman! — I am even more so: in far more labors, in prison more often, in beatings more severe, facing death again and again.

Now I, Paul myself, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc) — I who when present am “timid” among you, but when away am “bold” toward you.
By their approval of this service, they glorify God for your obedience stemming from your confession in the gospel of Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc), and for the generosity of your partnership with them and with everyone.
