But Herod the tetrarch, when he was reproved by him concerning Herodias, the wife of his brother, and concerning all (pantōn | πάντων | gen pl neut) the evil things which Herod had done,

John gave an answer to (pasin | πᾶσιν | dat pl masc) all (pasin | πᾶσιν | dat pl masc), saying, “I indeed baptize you with water, but there is coming one who is mightier than I, of whom I am not worthy to untie the thong of his sandals. He it is who will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Since the people were filled with anticipation and all (pantōn | πάντων | gen pl masc) were questioning in their hearts about John (“Could he perhaps be the Messiah?”)

Indeed, already the axe is laid to the root of the trees; therefore every (pan | πᾶν | nom sg neut) tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

Then will all (pasa | πᾶσα | nom sg fem) flesh see the salvation of God!’”

Every (pasa | πᾶσα | nom sg fem) ravine will be filled in and every (pan | πᾶν | nom sg neut) mountain and hill will be leveled off; the crooked places will become straight and the rough places will become smooth roads.

And he went into the region all (pasan | πᾶσαν | acc sg fem) around the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was obedient to them. And his mother treasured all (panta | πάντα | acc pl neut) that was said in her heart.

And all (pantes | πάντες | nom pl masc) who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
