He who comes from above is superior to all (pantōn | πάντων | gen pl neut). He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is superior to all (pantōn | πάντων | gen pl neut).
So they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, that man who was with you on the far side of the Jordan, the one to whom you bore witness — well, he is baptizing, and everyone (pantes | πάντες | nom pl masc) is going to him!”
For everyone (pas | πᾶς | nom sg masc) who practices wickedness hates the light and does not come to the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
“For this is how God loved the world: he gave his one and only Son that everyone (pas | πᾶς | nom sg masc) who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
The wind blows wherever it chooses, and you hear its sound, but do not know where it is coming from or where it is going. So it is with everyone (pas | πᾶς | nom sg masc) born of the Spirit.”
So he made a whip out of cords and drove them all (pantas | πάντας | acc pl masc) out of the temple, including the sheep and the cattle. He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
