He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him intently and said, “You are Simon (Simōn | Σίμων | nom sg masc), the son of John; you will be called Cephas” (which is translated “Peter”).
The first thing he did was to find his own brother Simon (Simōna | Σίμωνα | acc sg masc) and say to him, “We have found the Messiah!” (which is translated “Christ”).
As they led him away, they took hold of a certain Simon (Simōna | Σίμωνα | acc sg masc) of Cyrene, who was coming in from the countryside, and put the cross on him to carry it behind Jesus.
