prep. used in the NT only in certain forms. ἀνὰ μέρος, in turn; ἀνὰ μέσον, through the midst, between; ἀνὰ δηνάριον, at the rate of a denarius; with numerals, ἀνὰ ἑκατόν, in parties of a hundred.
