meivzwn occurs only 48 times in the New Testament. We have included it here because it is the comparative form of the adjective mevgaV that occurs more frequently. The neuter accusative singular (mei:zon) can be used adverbially. Be sure to see its full paradigm in the Appendix (a-4b[1], page 351).

It is often followed by a word in the genitive, just like pleivwn. You can use the key word "than."
