The DVDs are dual layer NTSC. If you live outside of the US and Japan, they may not play on your dvd player.
The lectures are recorded in 16:9 aspect. Please be sure to set your TV to this aspect. Older TVs tend to cut off some of the edges even in 16:9 aspect.
