Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine;
oh what a foretaste of glory divine;
heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.

Verse

“Unless one is born of water and πνεῦμα, they cannot enter the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5)

“The πνεῦμα blows wherever it chooses, and you hear its sound, but do not know where it is coming from or where it is going.” (John 3:8)

Notes

By "Spirit" we mean the Holy Spirit. Remember, in Greek there are no silent consonants, so the pi is pronounced; unlike in English where, for example, the "p" is not pronounced in the word, "pneumatic."
