Definition
heaven, sky
heaven, sky
Uranus is the Greek god of heaven.
Uranus is up in the sky.
Let every heart prepare Him room,
and heaven and nature sing,
and heaven and nature sing,
and heaven, and heaven and nature sing.
“May your kingdom come, may your will be done, on earth as it is in οὐρανός.” (Matt 6:10)
“Look at the birds of the οὐρανός. They neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” (Matt 6:26)
You will often find οὐρανός in the plural. This is the result of a Jewish way of speaking, and you can translate the plural as a singular if it fits the context.
