Sin
Hamartiology is the study of sin.
Melt the clouds of sin and darkness,
drive the dark of doubt away.
“How can we who died to ἁμαρτία go on living in it?” (Rom 6:2)
This word describes both a specific act of sin ("a sin") as well as the concept itself ("sin," "sinfulness").
