Notes

ἄγω undergoes what is called "Attic reduplication." This means that the word both reduplicates and then augments the reduplicated alpha (αγ → αγαγ → ἤγαγον). This is a second aorist. The γ has changed to a χ in the aorist passive because of the following θ, in compliance with the rules (#24.9).
