Jesus answered (apekrithē | ἀπεκρίθη | aor pass ind 3 sg), “My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my subjects would be fighting to prevent me from being handed over to the Jews; but as it is my kingdom is not from here.”
