After this Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus (though a secret one due to his fear of the Jews) asked Pilate (Pilaton | Πιλᾶτον | acc sg masc) if he could remove the body of Jesus. Pilate (Pilatos | Πιλᾶτος | nom sg masc) gave him permission, so he came and removed the body.
