Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion on the crowd because they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat (phagōsin | φάγωσιν | aor act subj 3 pl); and I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint from exhaustion on the way.”
