The Pharisees heard the crowd secretly discussing these things about Jesus, so the chief (archiereis | ἀρχιερεῖς | nom pl masc) priests (archiereis | ἀρχιερεῖς | nom pl masc) and Pharisees sent temple guards to arrest him.
