I die
I die
It is enought that Jesus died,
and that he died for me.
| Romans 5:6 | For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg) for the ungodly. |
| Romans 5:7 | For rarely will (apothaneitai | ἀποθανεῖται | fut mid ind 3 sg) one die (apothaneitai | ἀποθανεῖται | fut mid ind 3 sg) for an upright person — though perhaps for a genuinely good person one might actually dare to die (apothanein | ἀποθανεῖν | aor act inf ). |
| Romans 5:8 | But God demonstrates his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg) for us. |
| Romans 5:15 | But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died (apethanon | ἀπέθανον | aor act ind 3 pl) through the transgression of the one, much more did the grace of God and the gift that came by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ overflow to the many. |
| Romans 6:2 | By no means! How can we (apethanomen | ἀπεθάνομεν | aor act ind 1 pl) who died (apethanomen | ἀπεθάνομεν | aor act ind 1 pl) to sin go on living in it? |
| Romans 6:7 | for the one who has died (apothanōn | ἀποθανών | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) has been set free from sin. |
| Romans 6:8 | Now if we have died (apethanomen | ἀπεθάνομεν | aor act ind 1 pl) with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. |
| Romans 6:9 | We know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will (apothnēskei | ἀποθνῄσκει | pres act ind 3 sg) never die (apothnēskei | ἀποθνῄσκει | pres act ind 3 sg) again; death no longer has mastery over him. |
| Romans 6:10 | For the death he died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg), he (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg) died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg) to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. |
| Romans 7:2 | Thus a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies (apothanē | ἀποθάνῃ | aor act subj 3 sg), she is released from the law of marriage. |
| Romans 7:3 | Accordingly, if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies (apothanē | ἀποθάνῃ | aor act subj 3 sg), she is free from that law, so that she is not an adulteress if she marries another man. |
| Romans 7:6 | But now we have been released from the law, having died (apothanontes | ἀποθανόντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) to that which held us captive, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not under the old written code. |
| Romans 7:10 | and I died (apethanon | ἀπέθανον | aor act ind 1 sg). I found that the very commandment that promised life brought death to me! |
| Romans 8:13 | for if you live according to the flesh, you will certainly die (apothnēskein | ἀποθνῄσκειν | pres act inf ); but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. |
| Romans 8:34 | Who is it that condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died (apothanōn | ἀποθανών | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) — and more than that, he was raised — who is at the right hand of God, who also is interceding for us. |
| Romans 14:7 | For none of us lives for himself, and none dies (apothnēskei | ἀποθνῄσκει | pres act ind 3 sg) for himself. |
| Romans 14:8 | if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die (apothnēskōmen | ἀποθνῄσκωμεν | pres act subj 1 pl), we (apothnēskomen | ἀποθνῄσκομεν | pres act ind 1 pl) die (apothnēskomen | ἀποθνῄσκομεν | pres act ind 1 pl) for the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die (apothnēskōmen | ἀποθνῄσκωμεν | pres act subj 1 pl), we belong to the Lord. |
| Romans 14:9 | the reason why Christ died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg) and rose to life again was that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. |
| Romans 14:15 | if your brother is being hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy by what you eat that brother for whom Christ died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg). |
| 1 Corinthians 8:11 | And so the one who is weak, the brother for whom Christ died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg), will be destroyed by your knowledge. |
| 1 Corinthians 9:15 | But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this so that something will be done for me; for it would be better for me rather to die (apothanein | ἀποθανεῖν | aor act inf ) — no one shall take away my ground for boasting! |
| 1 Corinthians 15:3 | For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died (apethanen | ἀπέθανεν | aor act ind 3 sg) for our sins according to the Scriptures, |
| 1 Corinthians 15:22 | For just as in Adam all die (apothnēskousin | ἀποθνῄσκουσιν | pres act ind 3 pl), so also in Christ all will be made alive. |
| 1 Corinthians 15:31 | Every day I am in danger of dying! (apothnēskō | ἀποθνῄσκω | pres act ind 1 sg) I swear by my boasting in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
| 1 Corinthians 15:32 | If as a mere man I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die (apothnēskomen | ἀποθνῄσκομεν | pres act ind 1 pl). |
