Whoever’s sins you forgive (aphēte | ἀφῆτε | aor act subj 2 pl), they stand forgiven (apheōntai | ἀφέωνται | perf pass ind 3 pl); whoever’s sins you pronounce unforgiven, they remain unforgiven.
