For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he (autō | αὐτῷ | dat sg masc3rd) might not have to spend time in Asia, for he was hastening, if it were possible for him (autō | αὐτῷ | dat sg masc3rd), to be in Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost.
