After this Joseph of Arimathea (Harimathaias | Ἁριμαθαίας | gen sg fem), a disciple of Jesus (though a secret one due to his fear of the Jews) asked Pilate if he could remove the body of Jesus. Pilate gave him permission, so he came and removed the body.
