And seeing a fig (sykēn | συκῆν | acc sg fem) tree by the road, he went over to it and found nothing on it except leaves only. And he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And at once the fig (sykē | συκῆ | nom sg fem) tree withered away.
