The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was (eplēgē | ἐπλήγη | aor pass ind 3 sg) struck (eplēgē | ἐπλήγη | aor pass ind 3 sg), and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened; for a third of the day there was no light, and for a third of the night as well.
