Then that disciple whom Jesus loved (ēgapa | ἠγάπα | imperf act ind 3 sg) said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tucked in his outer garment (for he was wearing nothing underneath), and jumped into the sea.
