But (alla | ἀλλά | conj) we have renounced shameful hidden deeds. We do not practice cunning, nor do we tamper with the word of God, but (alla | ἀλλά | conj) by the open declaration of truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.
