Then Paul took the men and on the next day (hēmera | ἡμέρᾳ | dat sg fem) he purified himself with them and went into the temple, giving notice of the completion of the days (hēmerōn | ἡμερῶν | gen pl fem) of the purification, at which time the sacrifice would be offered on behalf of each one of them.
