By faith Abraham was enabled to become a father — even though Sarah herself was sterile and beyond the normal age of childbearing — because he (hēgēsato | ἡγήσατο | aor mid ind 3 sg) regarded (hēgēsato | ἡγήσατο | aor mid ind 3 sg) as faithful the one who had made the promise.
