The one who observes the day observes it for the Lord. And the one who eats (esthiōn | ἐσθίων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc), eats (esthiei | ἐσθίει | pres act ind 3 sg) for the Lord, because he gives thanks to God; and the one (esthiōn | ἐσθίων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) who (esthiōn | ἐσθίων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) abstains from eating (esthiōn | ἐσθίων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc), abstains for the Lord and gives thanks to God.
