And seeing a fig tree by the road, he went over to it and found nothing on it except leaves only. And he said to it, “May (genētai | γένηται | aor mid subj 3 sg) no fruit ever come (genētai | γένηται | aor mid subj 3 sg) from you again!” And at once the fig tree withered away.
