I have been busy for almost ten years now recording the finest teachers and scholars I know, and you can learn from them. This site has two purposes. (1) It houses a set of my recommendations (and my friends) for the best books to read. If you start here and go to Amazon or ChristianBooks, we receive a referral fee when you buy a book, which helps in the costs of running BiblicalTraining.org. Please check out the recommendations and use SupportMinistry.com as a portal. (2) The site also houses "Bill and Bob's blog." Here my father (Robert Mounce) and I will share what we are learning in our translation work; it is a great encouragement to people learning Greek, or those who have learned (and even for some who have not).

The Story of Jesus.org

This is a very dynamic translation of the gospel of John done from the apostle John's point of view. I wanted a Bible I could give to visitors, leave with people I run into, and give to my neighbors to start a discussion about Jesus. The text is available here (for free), and you can download it as a pdf. I also had it printed for $1.25 per book and will soon be able to sell it at cost through SupportMinistry.com. Dad did the translation, and it is really sharp.
